What are the Pakman Awards?
The Pakman Awards are Ireland's leading National Environmental Awards that recognise excellence in recycling and waste management among businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals in Ireland. All organisations who demonstrate their sustainability and environmental efforts may enter. The 2022 Pakman Awards took place on the 28th of October in the Marker Hotel and Limerick Polymers Production won the Overall Pakman Award.
The Pakman Awards are divided into 10 categories including the Overall Pakman Award, ranging from Community Recycling Initiatives, Innovation in Waste Resource Products or Services to Business Recycling Champions and Waste Prevention Awards. The Pakman Awards 2021
The Pakman Awards 2021 ceremony, which took place at The Shelbourne Hotel, saw representatives from leading organisations and community groups come together in accordance with government guidelines, to recognise achievements in recycling and waste management over the last two years. All eleven category winners on the night were automatically put forward for the overall Pakman Award, won by IPR.
